Thanks again to all the people who have donated to date. You've help raise $6917 as of the start of my quest at 5pm January 31st.

And so my challenge begins... as of 5:00 pm today, Jan 31, I am alcohol free till Feb 29th at 5:00 pm. I'm doing this timeline so Lin and I can celebrate a belated New Year with a dinner party at our Scottish friends' place on Feb 29th. I will CERTAINLY enjoy a pint that night.

Wish me luck everyone. (I'm hoping it actually won't be that big a deal as I still intend to socialize after hockey and indoor golf... except of course with non-alcoholic beer.
